Before My Journey

At The Amos's
I
don’t know what I’ll get out of this family but the fact that they had to have
a doggone boy who can beat me up and not have a girl who can dress themselves
up and play with dolls is a pretty painful thought, so painful that you feel
like you had a doggone hot iron fresh from the grill stuck to your head. We
just pulled up t the new house, it’s a pretty big house probably full of white
people and not blacks like me, whoa here I go. I
found out I was right about the boy in the doggone big house, I found out he’s
a liar, a tough cookie, and he definitely doesn’t play with any doggone dolls.
I need to suck in all that doggone fear and put up my dukes to survive that kid
for another month or two. I know what I was getting next for the rest of the time
I stay at the Amos’s house, punches, kicks, and lots and lots of them doggone
bruises. Now I ended up in a shed because of my
new brother Todd but he lied about me saying I attacked him like a criminal
like John Dillinger attacking innocent people. So that’s why I ended up here in
this shed. I wonder how I can get out of here and avoid all those scary vampire
bats and that dead body that is in here. Maybe I can use my jackknife to get
out without drawing the Amos’s attention. It’s hard to get out of a shed while
fighting a swarm of wasps at you with their doggone stingers and to get out of
that shed secretly, now time to take my revenge on them Amos’s so I sneaked in
and grabbed the gun on the cooler holding that gun made me feel like a black version
of Daniel Boone. Now time to get my revenge. Here is a recipe to get revenge, one cup
of hot water and that’s it. Walk upstairs to your person who your taking
revenge on. Put their hand in the warm water silently and lightly. If you do
that then you may see their pajamas getting soaked. But if that doesn’t work
just pour it on them and then your revenge will definitely work and you’ll get
front row seats and see their pajamas get moist, and see their desert bed turn
into a swamp. After that leave and run as fast as you can because I did all
those steps with the Amos’s child Todd.
With The Band
I asked the Dusky Devastators if I could go to Sweat Pea Because Iv'e never been to a restaurant before. Steady Eddie told me I could go because I had no other place to go and no place to eat. As I walked in to Sweat Pea I thought that I was in heaven you wish you could have been there. I smelled all of these different types of foods and I couldn't believe that the Dusky Devastators were taking me here. When I saw the food come towards my table I started to drool, it looked so doggone good! I finished the last bit of my meatloaf (witch was the best food I have ever tasted), I asked Jimmy, if I could go and stay with them at Grand Calloway Station. Jimmy told me I could stay with them. I was super excited because Iv'e never slept on a bed before! When I felt the mattress it felt like a big cloud, I was so thankful for this opportunity. When I woke up I wanted to actually see the Dusky Devastators play so I asked Doo Doo Bug if I could see them play he replied,"Why not". So I sat in a chair and saw Steady Eddie play those insane doggone notes on his saxophone, and Herman on his big fiddle, and Doo Doo Bug playing that nice beat on the drums. I was moving to the beat and I liked where I was at that moment, I thought to my self Can Herman E. Calloway let me stay? Then as they stopped playing there best hit yet "Round here". I applauded for about 5 minutes. Then I remembered Steady Eddie came to me with this big black box. I was wondering what it was. I was super intrigued on what it was, food, an instrument, something that my mom had? I wanted to know. Then when he opened it it was a saxophone! I was super excited. They also gave me my official band name. They remembered that I slept a lot, and they could see a lot of my bones. So they call me Sleepy La'bone. I really loved the band name and was super excited about being in the band! That was the best time I ever had in my entire life. I will never forget that doggone moment!
Settling With The Band
I’ve found my new home in the band. I’ve been practicing for 2 years and Herman E. Calloway finally let me in the band in the place of him. I’m playing the saxophone in the band with Steady Eddie, but since Herman E. Calloway has dropped out of the band, there is no more, big fiddle in our band. Our band has been renamed since Herman E. Calloway has dropped out. The name of the band now is The Sleepy Labone’s of the Great Depression. We added a doggone new room to Grand Calloway Station and we renamed it, Grand Labone’s Station, so we know rehearse in my Momma’s room. My room is now the new room that we added on and I moved all of my things and Momma’s things into my new room. Ms. Thomas died in a doggone car crash, so know Deza Malone is the bands new singer. Her voice is not has good has Ms. Thomas’s voice was, but it’s still pretty good. I’ve so happy that I officially in the band, Mr. Calloway is really nice know that he is out of the band and that his only job is to be my grandfather. The one thing that’s so doggone bad is that I have to go to school now. I don’t like it at all! All the things that happened to me with the Amos’s and finding Herman E. Calloway all seems like a bad dream know that everything’s so awesome! I still always miss my mom a lot, and I wish she was still alive, so she could be with me right now. Sorry, I need to stop blogging! I need to go practice for the performance tonight! Oh, I forgot to tell you, we are playing Round Here tonight! Come ‘on over and see us!
