Before My Journey

Right now I’m with my ma were are playing a card game called spades. It’s a super bang ya’ll. We played for a few hours and then all my kin came to my house and we all had supper together as a family, we had some pork chops chitterlings, mashed taters, meatloaf and cornbread, yum yum my favorite supper. Afterwards ma and I divvied up all the dishes went to our room to get some shut-eye. The next morning I went into ma’s room to wake her up she wasn't there I was mighty frightened. So I ran to payphone the I realized that I didn’t have a coin so I ran over to my neighbors and asked them can I use there phone they said sure honey in a way that they never did for this was mighty suspicious ya’ll anyway I rang the police to see if they have seen ma, they never answered. Then they took me in there car and the last thing I remember was red and blue flashing lights and this loud sound going weeoooo weeoooo weeooo and that’s how I ended up ere in this dark, sad doggone orphanage waiting for my mama to find me and take me to my home so I can have more supper with my kin and suck up some chitterlings and pork chops yum yum I miss the juicy taste of them doggone on pork chops and the buttery taste of them cornbread muffins things, I sure do hope they start making those round here I sure do miss those things. Oh ma please come back for me miss you so darn much, I miss your sweet smile and your warm hugs and kisses. Ma come back please ma please.
